UPCOMING EVENTS
SEX ED DEBATE COMPETITION

We are really excited to sponsor Debate Hub's Autumn debating competition for the second year running.

Please see the details below.

Date and time: Tuesday 12th November, 4.30pm to 8.30pm

Location: South Hampstead High School, 3 Maresfield Gardens, London, NW3 5SS

Year groups: Key Stage Three to Key Stage Five

Cost: free for state schools and £45 for private schools

Many important PSHE topics such as consent and periods are shrouded in stigma. This can stop young people from having important conversations, setting boundaries or from speaking up if something is wrong.

Our aim with this competition is for young people to discuss and debate challenging PSHE topics that are relevant to their everyday lives. We hope this will encourage them to continue these important discussions in the future and to speak up for what they care about.

Students of all abilities are welcome. This is a novice event so many students joining us will have never entered a debate competition before.

AMBITIOUS ABOUT AUTISM CONFERENCE

We loved speaking at Ambitious About Autism's conference 2024 alongside the amazing young people in the Ambitious Youth Network. Together, we discussed why sex education needs to be more inclusive to neurodivergence and how autism impacts relationships.

We will be launching our autistic guide to consent shortly. Keep an eye on our website for updated or sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about this!
